New Design Peer Review
We have found that leaks are able to be seen on the drawings well before the construction has commenced. This informs our defect prevention service where we carry out a peer review of architectural, structural engineering and hydraulic engineering drawings well before the design is completed.
Essential steps in this process include:
1. Gap analysis - we compare each of the different design contributors versions of key details to check for gaps or mismatches in key water shedding details.
2. Waterproofing risk register we are aware that not all risks are equal and in any building there usually only 6 or so key elements of particular concern. a waterproofing risk register sifts out the key risk issues particular to the project.
3. Facilitated workshops to guide the design teams and construction teams in necessary adjustments to design and suggestions for material selection.
